Many times girls and women take the greatest burden when it comes to prevention, but
more men on college campuses are getting active in rape prevention and
men are working to prevent rape and domestic violence.
It is
estimated that 1 in 6 American women have been the victim of rape or attempted rape and that 1 in 33 American men have been the victim of rape or attempted rape. While this number is appalling, it also means the collective resources of these crime victims to help institute widespread positive change is enormous.
